The 5512 is just back from the Spa.. with some better hands. Now it's perfect. What a blast! So much sex on the wrist.

I already showed you some nice Maxi dials here. And you know i love them. This one is even rarer. Maxi Mk1 5512 Submariner.  And look at this case. What makes it even more special is the patina. Hard to catch.. Camel/sand/orange/brownish. And the inlay is black/purple/brownish. Amazing!

Back from the Spa

It's back. And all i hoped for. I love this watch. But the case condition (also unpolished) always gave me a bit of down. I love those classical lugs. And wanted the case to be freshed up.

Found the one i was looking for. A all gloss 5512 tropical dial.  The case has seen life. But seems to be unpolished. The pointed crown-guards are still real sharp and edgy!

The Maxi MK1... best Sex for the money

I had the great privledge to be able to put quite some different vintage and modern Rolex watches on my wrist. And found out that the simple classic style of the 5513/5512 is the nicest of all. And among them.... well the Maxi Mk1 for me the the best dial ever. Just some bigger indexes, but what a difference!!! For me pure sex on the wrist and best watch for the money. Rare,... and really magical.....

The non-date Submariner is just reduced to the MAX.
